PET (Partial extraction technique) FOR IMPLANTS :- A female patient came with broken crowns wrt first and second left premolar .She had post and core previously and had no ferrule left for further restoration.So immediate extraction wrt first premolar and PET (Socket shield ) wrt 35 done and immediate implant 4.5 X 13 inserted. After 2 months open tray impression was made and screw retained prosthesis was delivered .
This case highlights how advanced techniques like the Partial Extraction Technique (PET) can preserve natural tooth structure and ensure long-term success of dental implants in Jaipur. With immediate implant placement and precise prosthetic rehabilitation, the patient regained full function and aesthetics.
